From August 14th to the 17th many folks from Calvary Chapel Port-au-Prince acompanied Edy and I to a leaders retreat in Oriani in the mountains near the Pine forest. Edy spoke on the Mission of the Church and I spoke on the Character of a Christian Leader and on the Spiritual Gifts. We had a few prayer meetings and we fasted Saturday morning until 1pm.
Many of the leaders present confessed their sins and asked for prayers and forgiveness.
Sunday morning, Edy taught on Acts chapters 1 and 2 and people prayed to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
I came back on Saturday night right after the tropical storm to be ready for Sunday morning service while a few of our folks came back last night along with Edy.
