Seige was invited to preach at Excelsior School's chapel service yesterday. It was a chance to speak to a large group of students (more than 100) at a very prominent school. His text was from Ephesians 1:13-14 which gives the Gospel in a nutshell:
1) The Word of Truth is proclaimed and heard
2) The Gospel is believed
3) The Holy Spirit seals
The fundamental problem of Haiti is a spiritual one. Until peoples' hearts are changed by the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, all change is only temporary and surface. The Gospel must continue to be faithfully and accurately proclaimed.
