Children Ministry Christmas Celebration at CCPAP

We started with about 50 children but at the end we had about 140 children from the neighborhood joining us to celebrate Christmas at Calvary Chapel Port-au-Prince. Some of the gifts were donated by another local ministry. The gospel was presented to them, of course.

Christmas Celebration with the Street Kids

Our church, in collaboration with another ministry (Monique Cesar Guillaume Ministere), celebrated Christmas with the street kids we work with. It was a time to motivate them to stay the course, to focus on Jesus-Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. We were joined by 2 well known Christian singers, one Haitian (Maggie Blanchard from Canada) and one french (Marcel Boungou, originally from Congo, Africa). We had a great time: food, gifts, singing make a great combination.
Next month we start teaching a couple of these young men how to drive. Keep them in your prayers if you can, it is easy for them to get distracted from what the Lord is doing in their lives. We lost some of them already.

New Hope Mission - Calvary Chapel PaP Conference

We teamed up with New Hope Mission working in the Northern part of Haiti for a conference on Salvation and Sanctification for the leaders of the 5 churches that the mission supports.
The message was well received by some, not all, but we are already invited back to follow up.
Our objective with these conferences is to help the leaders stay away from religion and focus on a love relationship with our savior Jesus-Christ based on Grace through Faith, based on what our lord did on the cross.

Flu in and out

The flu is in.
Many CC Port-au-Prince church leaders are bed sick with the flu.
We covet your prayers as we need the flu out, at least next week as Edy, Elsie, Dinette and I (Serge) travel to Cap Haitien, the second largest city, to talk to leaders out of 3 churches for a couple of days.
God bless you all
